Being a 5-door car, having no central locking can become a bit inconvenient at times. This made me buy a CENTRAL LOCKING KIT and a
REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM to go with it. Fitting the whole system wasn't the most difficult thing in the world, but the doors did not have enough space for the motors. To make matters worse, the connecting rods in the front doors were too thick (in diameter) to take the connectors. So I had to make a few modifications to fix the problem. Now everything is working fine, including the remote control.
In making all these conversions and changes I have made sure not to disturb the original configuration of the car. So, if in the future, it goes to a non-enthusiast, I can strip off all these accessories in a couple of hours, and no one will be able to tell the difference.
